GT Automation and Controls ("GT-AC", "we", "us") operates the UDT XML Generator web application. This page explains our data handling practices, which are straightforward: we do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data.

No Data Collection

The UDT XML Generator runs entirely within your web browser. All processing - parsing UDT structures, configuring fields, and generating XML output - happens locally on your device. Nothing you enter into this tool is ever sent to or stored on our servers.

No UDT data you paste is transmitted to any server.
No generated XML output is uploaded or logged anywhere.
No user accounts, login credentials, or personal information are collected.
No analytics, tracking scripts, or third-party data collection services are used.

Local Storage

The application uses your browser's local storage solely to remember your theme preference (light or dark mode). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Server Logs

Our web server may retain standard HTTP access logs (IP address, timestamp, URL requested) as is normal for any web server. These logs are used only for operational purposes such as diagnosing errors, and are not used to identify, profile, or track individual users. They are not shared with third parties.

Cookies

This application does not use cookies.

Third-Party Services

This application does not embed or call any third-party APIs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or external services. All resources (fonts, styles, scripts) are self-hosted.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our data practices in a material way, we will update this page. Given the nature of this tool (purely client-side with no backend data processing), we do not anticipate any significant changes.
